Here's a few pics of our day here on the Fourth. We had the Howells' gang over then went downtown to see the works. The colored blur is the kids running with glowsticks - by the way... they may have been a bigger hit than the actual fireworks ;)
Oh- and the picture of Jaedon is especially for Uncle Myron- He and Brad went on a bike ride and came back with mud caked on his (new) shirt, socks, (new) shoes, hair, ears, etc... you would've been proud ;)

uncle Myron will be proud...particularily that all these new things got soooo muddy
It was a yummy day... one of my favorite Howells' traditions.
My attention kept swiveling between the fireworks exploding in the sky, Jaedon in my lap with my hands on his ears ("I don't like this, Grandma Jan"), Seth with one ear on Brad's chest and the other covered by Brad's hand, Owen (who was hiding behind a nursing blanket!)and Katelyn, who seemed nonchalant and bored by all the lights and noise. You guys are such a blessing to us and we are honored that you enjoy this tradition we started years ago with Jack and Bonnie.
