I'm looking for some free advice here.
How are you teaching your kids how to pray?
How do you teach little ones the need to be respectful to a holy God without becoming rigid and balancing that with the Father side of God who wants to be their friend?
Ideas? Thoughts?

nothing fancy, here - we encourage them to pray and talk to Jesus as they would someone they trust and love... and then gently remind them if they get flippant, disrespectful, etc., to think about to whom they are talking.
unfortunately (and fortunately), sometimes i see reflected in my kids attitudes and a lack of awe that i didn't even know existed in me...
